Zodiac N-ZO wins Motorboat of the Year Award
RIB & Sportsboat category – Motorboat of the Year Award
Zodiac’s much celebrated new cabin RIB, N-ZO has won its category in the IPC magazines Motor Boat of the Year Awards at a spectacular marine industry event held at the Langham Hotel in London. The 7-metre, luxury 2-berth cabin RIB won the RIB and Sportsboat category having impressed the judging panel with its progressive design and affordability.
On presenting the award, the editor of Motor Boats Monthly Magazine and Motor Boat of the Year Awards judge, Carl Richardson said, “Zodiac’s N-ZO opens up a boating genre to a completely new set of buyers and wowed the judges with a refreshingly new and sophisticated take on sportsboating.”
UK Managing Director of Zodiac Marine & Pool, Alan Morgan commented, “This is a superb start to the year for us and we are delighted that Zodiac’s new flagship model has been recognised by the ‘who’s who’ of British motorboat journalism. We are very excited by the introduction of our first cabin RIB, which has been extremely well received in its first year of production and we look forward to further success with the introduction of our 2010 model.”
First launched in the UK in 2009, the latest version of Zodiac’s N-ZO is currently being shown at this year’s Tullet Prebon London International Boat Show. Having undergone a number of performance improvements following valued feedback, the 2010 model is even faster thanks to an increase in engine capacity and reduction in weight.
N-ZO is Zodiac’s first high performance cabin RIB and has been designed in collaboration with renowned Italian designer, Vittorio Garroni. It combines Zodiac’s boat-building expertise and Garroni’s pure lines resulting in the most sophisticated craft to be produced from the Zodiac factory to date.
