Atollvic shipyard sponsors “World Superyacht Awards 2010”

Vigo – Atollvic Shipyard, specialists in the construction, refit and repair of luxury sail and motor yachts, is proudly partnering with organisers of the World Superyacht Awards 2010 by sponsoring the category for the Best Sailing Yacht in 30m to 44m size range.

 The 5th annual ceremony of the World Superyacht Awards, taking place on Saturday 22 May at London’s Guildhall, will see Atollvic celebrate the best of the best in superyacht build and design. Strategically positioned in Vigo on the north-west coast of Spain, Atollvic’s new-build team combines a highly skilled group of designers with naval architects and interior specialists to craft vessels that perform seamlessly and offer the ultimate in tailored comfort and style.

The Spanish shipyard, which also provides refit and repair services, can fulfil a broad range of projects including motor yachts, sailboats and luxury superyachts and is part of Grupo Vicalsa, a group of companies with more than 35 years experience in the construction and repair of steel and aluminium boats. The World Superyacht Awards is a celebrated event in the superyacht industry calendar and recognises the talents of industry professionals including builders, naval architects and designers. Judged by an independent panel, the awards will honour the best yachts launched during the last 12 months.
