Opening Powerboat P1event cancelled

The opening round of the 2010 Powerboat P1 championships due to be staged in Croatia in March has been cancelled. A spokesman for P1 stressed how disappointed they were after so much work had gone into the event but the local promoter had not fulfilled their part of the contract regarding funding that left P1 with little option than to cancel the event.
